Issue:

This practice faced issues with under utilization of staff members, inefficient workflows, billing bottlenecks, long processing times for claim submittals, knowledge of current billing coding procedures and consistency in collection of patient copayments and deductibles.

1 Key highlight:

We began by performing a complete billing audit reviewing a period of 6 months worth of claims.   In doing so, we were able to capture over $100K in revenue.  

This included uncovering codes for services rendered not submitted, improper modifier issues, coding errors, eligibility errors and introduced new lines of service to maximize staff and provider time.
